Is Cow Flatulence getting to be too much?

In recent studies done by Harvard Graduate Students, shows that levels of Methane Gas are getting much higher in the atmosphere and more dense. Methane gas is about 20x stronger than CO2, more commonly found in fossil fuels and agriculture; hence the title. South America registered at the highest amounts of Methane at 4.5% more than the rest of the world. So, what does this actually mean?
